Meet the Owner
Hi, I’m Chad Rouse, the proud owner and founder of Custom Decks. My journey in construction began at just 9 years old, working alongside my dad on deck projects. After high school, I joined him full-time framing houses, then later became the lead subcontractor for my brother’s deck business.
In 2012, I launched Custom Decks LLC with a goal to provide high-quality, custom outdoor living spaces to homeowners across Central Iowa. With over 25 years of experience, I’ve focused on delivering expertly built composite decks, covered patios, screen rooms, and pergolas—each designed to enhance both functionality and curb appeal.
